After a few rounds of vigorous combat, the fight moved outside where the party had to content with not only the wyrm, but with the dustdevils summoned by the beast. They finally caused enough damage that Grimmr flew away.
"I am most displeased with you, mortals... Though, you'll be happy to know that I didn't fully destroy the town up the road; a partially dead dragon calls for a partial payment, so I only ate their cattle a few children. I will be seeing you soon..." With that, the great beast took to the skies.
The group continued their journey, through Meddijum, Krossvegr, Jorsfarth, and Jarski. Before making it to Hilldale, they came upon a gory sight on the road: the back half of a sheep that had been ripped asunder, surrounded by tracks that appeared to be goblinoid with what looked to be an ogre leader. They followed these tracks to a small cavern, in which there lived an ettin and his orc and orog minions. The party made fairly quick work of them, as well as some giant spiders, and found that deeper in the natural caverns made way for dwarven stonework. So far, they have found a lock-box with magic Ice Arrows in an old desk, and a diamond in the sludge of an old chamber pot. We will find out what else there is to discover this Thursday!
