Speaking of the Tim Kask game... Back when D&D was first getting started in the 70's, they would come up with silly/crazy monsters from all sorts of sources. The "bulette" was imagined by Tim Kask after finding some cheap plastic made-in-China monster toy and giving it stats for in game. At the end of the game, he pulled it out, and said he was going to gift it to the person he thought deserved it due to in-game heroics (or in my case, obviously shenanigans, hehe), and handed it to me. Needless to say, I was (am still completely am) floored.
